::Dream of Eleh::

~Lucia shivers slightly, staring at Altin as he works on the strand of the dying tree.~

"Damn, can't we hurry? Vandal is right behind us."

"Yeah-yeah, gimme a minute."

~Altin sighs as he lifts the dying strand of Eleh.~

"Damn...how can the thing that holds our world together die?"

~Altin gently pushes the strand aside, revealing a living strand.~

"Aha!!! Yes, this will do."

"Well? Altin we don't have a lot of time!"

~Lucia turns, staring at the entrance to the cavern.~

"You know I can't kill Vandal!"

"Alright..."

~Altin places his hand on the strand, causing it to glow brightly.~

"Where is...this Veritas?"

"Dammit...I don't know."

~Lucia shakes her head.~

"If she isn't here soon, we'll go on without her..."

"Eh...she might not want to meet the Perduellion, or the Tribunal."

~Altin sighs, raising to look toward the cave entrance.~

"Vandal's army is coming..."

"Oh fuck this..."

~Lucia's form begins to shimmer, her hair becoming lighter, and her clothes changing.~



~Lucia pulls her gunblade from its sheath, rushing out of the cave at Vandal's army.~

"Die..."

~Lucia rushes the army, slashing men in half, shooting others, and all the while heading straight for Vandal. As blood flies, Lucia's smile widens...~

~Lucia leaps into the air once more, pointing her gunblade at the ground.~

"OverDrive!"

~A blast issues forth from the gunblade, made of pure, raw chaos energy. The blast twists around the army, forming into a giant snake, then flies into the heavens.~

"Bye...bye."

~A small orb floats down, settling in the middle of the army. The soldiers stare at the strange object, puzzled by its appearance, while Vandal turns and rides off. Lucia smirks as the orb expands rapidly, followed by an earsplitting explosion.~

"You're late."

~Lucia laughs, watching Veritas.~

"Of course you did."

~Lucia replies sarcastically.~

"Come on."

~Lucia leads Veritas deep into the cave. the walls covered by strange runes. AS they round the corner, Altin rises.~

~Altin rises, staring at the wall.~

"Are you sure you want to come through?"

~He asks Veritas.~

"I am unsure whether a non-toman will live through this."

~Lucia chuckles, her form breaking like glass. ONce the shards fall way, she stands, clothed in the Harbinger's armor, no longer in false forms, now in true appearance...at last.~

"I have no need of Majesty...I can take the Carnelian Throne and rule all of Baria."

~Lucia lifts a hand to the root, throwing all three through the glowing portal.~
