~In her heart plays a melody, sadly, though, it is not as a normal child's melody, but one of such great weight that she seems to emanate an aura of sadness. Her eyes seem always close to tears, and her voice quivers unceasingly.
Held high on horseback, dressed in a light purple gown, escorted by Imrion Soldiers, the Great Queen stares at the saddle beneath her, never looking to the gathered Haradians. She sits, her eyes closed, unmoving as they pass through the gates of the Carnelian Dome, on their path to see the Tarkin.~

"Milady, If I may? I would like to escort you to the Tarkin's Chambers."

~The man seems sweet, his eyes reflecting great kindness. Though sightless, he seems able to tell exactly where she sits atop her horse. She stares at him, feeling her face burn. HIs long, black hair, falls to his mid back, and his young face bears no hair, nor scars, as would young men in her land.
His hand is soft, and smooth as silk as he helps her from her horse. She trembles slightly, but it seems to pass as he places his hand on her shoulder. He seems no older than fourteen, but his movements are those of an experienced fighter, and trained Nobleman. His clothes are of the deepest red, and his cloudy eyes form into a smile, as his lips curl the same.~

"Introducing, Great Queen Semlin-Nor of Imrion House."

~He calls to the gathered nobles, and to his Tarkin, who smiles a wamr smile, much like the boy's. The boy holds Semlin's hand as she steps forward, to greet the empress. She knows in her land, he would have gone by now, but here, he seems to be more than just her escort.~

~She sees the girl's red cheeks as Lorien leads her forward, and smiles. She had intentionally sent her Grandson to escort the girl, hoping the two would be close so easily, as was she and the girl's father, and so far it seemed both were happy to be near the other.~

"Semlin-Nor, I greet you, Great Queen. I, Tarkin Par-iRap, acknowledge you, title and nation, and welcome you into Arcosa, known here as Baria."

~Lucia smiles as Lorien continues to hold Semlin's hand, though tradition would have ordered otherwise.~

"Pray, we now begin our meeting, Little Friend?"

~Semlin holds the boy's hand tight as she speaks, barely above a whisper.~

"Imrion seeks to open all contact between her and her Sister Land, Arcosa."

~She continues to hold the boy's hand, who seems to enjoy the girl's touch.~

"Imrion also recognizes you, Tarkin Par-iRap of Arcosa, formerly Desert Rose, partnered of My Father."

~Lucia rises, taking hold of the girl's free hand.~

"So say I, Tarkin, and ye, Great Queen, be from now this the Union of Arcosa and Imrion."

~Lucia releases the girl's hand, who nods in acceptance.~

"And, as are traditions, I grant you a request."

~Her heart skips a beat as the Tarkin speaks. A request was never mentioned among the scrolls...the Tarkin must have been more than a gracious ruler, told of in the scrolls.~

"I merely wish to remain here, in Arcosa."

~She blushes as the boy stares at her and smiles.~

"And I wish to stay with you, and..."

~The boy smiles, whispering his name.~"Lorien"

"Lorien."

~Lucia smiles, having already guessed the request.~

"As you ask, so I grant. Semlin-Nor, you are here, and forever, welcomed in my House."

~Lucia continues to smile.~

It seems I have gained more than an Ally today. Perhaps I will gain a grand-daughter.
