Shadows in the Sun

~Two shadows flit across the courtyard, seeming as the shadows of clouds above. Once out of sight of the palace guards, the shadows take a more tangible shape, and the two Phoenixes eye the wards surrounding the central tower. Rhi produces a small orb from beneath her cloak and tosses it toward the tower. She flinches as the wards shatter.~
We don't have much time. Undoubtedly, someone was watching the wards.

~Rhi nods, then circles the room. She gestures silently to two tiles, which are unlike the others, before stepping beside the gold one. She watches as Hosetu steps beside the silver tile.~
Together, then. In case one is a trap.

~Rhi grabs Hosetu's hand, dragging her out onto the ledge of their only option for escape--an opening used either to keep watch or shoot arrows (it was hard to tell, when nobody was actually using such "windows"). The two Phoenixes stare at each other for a moment, before spreading their wings and flying into the air. After a moment, they have vanished.~
